In this tough market you must have an interview winning CV. It’s the first thing a hirer will look at and you need to grab their attention in the first 60 seconds.
Your CV should never cover more than 2 A4 sheets and all sections should be in date order with the most recent first. If there’s any gaps in your CV give a reason otherwise they could draw the wrong conclusions!
Don’t exaggerate too much. You might have to give more details at interview of anything you’ve put in your CV.

Please, please proof read and spellcheck your CV at least 10 times before it goes out. You could be absolutely perfect for the job but if your grammar or spelling is bad, you won’t even get an interview.
